I fell in love with Spain. Of course the food is undeniably good, even the house wine is fantastic, and the culture there can’t be found anywhere else. The history is complex and each of its regions is distinct. Narrow streets filled with the sounds of locals dining every evening, talking for hours at the table late into the night; mountain views by the blue-green Alboran Sea and the seductive atmosphere of a warm summers night are the dreams that I still have about Spain. It’s a place that I will return to often.
